My 19yr old nephew Nathan Brown has been in John Hunter Hospital Intensive Care Unit since 29th August. He has fallen victim to this terrible Influenza A virus as well as acute pneumonia and he has a staph infection in both lungs and in his heart. He is on life support and has been in a medically induced coma for over 3 weeks. His lungs have collapsed and his kidneys have stopped working. He is an extremely sick young man.
The medical staff have been amazing and we are hoping and praying for a positive outcome.
It is going to be a very long and tough recovery for Natto once he beats this incepid illness. He will not be able to work for many months and his rehabilitation and ongoing medical expenses will be substantial.
He will be extremely embarrassed by me doing this but I am asking for any support you can offer him. Please help us guarantee Nathan the best future possible. No kid deserves what he is going through and what lies ahead. Thank you in advance for your help.
