Help Shayne Fight Hodgkins Lymphoma

Hello, my name is LaTasha George.  My son, Shayne Hayes, has been battling cancer since June 2015. He was 15 yrs old. It was devastating for him & heartbreaking for me & my family. I watched him get so sick & go through so much pain. I felt so helpless as his mother, and as a nurse, knowing there was nothing I could do to help him, except pray! By the grace of God, and lots of prayer, he beat it and went into remission. However, it only lasted 9 months. In that time his hair started growing back, & he graduated, a whole year early. He loves music and was able to record his first album & even performed at local events. This year, June 2016, it came back. He's now 16 yrs old. His next birthday is approaching, but unfortunately we will be headed to New Orleans, La, for him to undergo a Stem Cell Transplant to help save his life! This will require him to be admitted in the hospital for 1 month & upon discharge, housed in New Orleans, La, near the hospital for 100 days (3months & 10days). He will be very weak, ill & susceptible to any & everything. He will have to be re-admitted for anything @ anytime, during those (100 days). This will required a lot of funds.... Housing, food, transportation, toiletries, laundry expenses and miscellaneous items. Funds will also cover any Rx he needs, that aren't covered by his medical insurance & anything else he may need or want. I'm a single mother of 3 sons. Shayne is my middle son. I have no income, as I have not worked in 3 years due to my own illness & being Shayne's 24/7 nurse.
