My name is Barb Corbeil and I am a colleague and close friend of Jody's wife Michelle and friends to Jody as well. I am starting this Go Fund Me Page to help the Kowerchuk family with Jody's medical expenses. Below explains the cause.
Jody was in a tragic quading accident on Wednesday evening while volunteering for an upcoming event in North Battleford. As a result of this accident, he broke his back in 3 places, including his neck. He has since had surgery to fuse some of the vertibra's. Recovery to these life changing injuries is going to be a long road, and with 2 small children at home the financial stress is going to quickly become overwhelming.
This family needs our help. Michelle has been in Saskatoon by Jody's side. Expenses add up quickly, and we all know Jody and Michelle would never ask for help themselves, but they need it. If we can lessen some of the financial stress for them, Jody can focus on recovering.
I know that this help will mean the world to them and it means alot to me as well to be able to do something to help out some friends.
