Hi Everyone,
“No beauty shines brighter than that of a good heart.” When I reflect on the many people I have encountered in the world, there are a few that can’t help but be the cream that floats to the top. One of those truly incredible souls is Lisa Coons. Some years back I attended an Earth Conference at the School Sisters of Notre Dame and was struck by this tall, slender dark-haired gal, that had a great smile, lovely laugh and way of getting people to understand the importance of earth stewardship, unlike I’d ever encountered before. I said to myself, “I must know her!” And, thus began a wonder-filled friendship that evolved into knowing Lisa and her beauty-filled, incredible family, Patti and Eleanor.
It is so very lovely to find the kind of people like Lisa, Patti and Eleanor in the world. They are one of the most amazing families in our community and here we are now, needing to help raise them up and support them during a difficult time. It takes a village. This saying has stuck with me having grown up in a rural community and has created for me an understanding, that however we come to know one another, we take care of each other.
As many of you are already aware, Lisa has had some on-going medical difficulties. Although, she has one of the most amazing hearts in the world, the one that came with package has been giving her a run for her money. Along with most recently, difficult complications. She continues to have on-going medical needs. As many people know, it is an expensive world we live in to take care of these needs and the associated costs of trying to stay well. She is currently at the U of MN, receiving top-notch care.
It is my ask of you, that you could offer something up to be able to make this easier for this sweet family. If not monetary, then however you offer up care, perhaps through good wishes, prayers, positive vibes, etc.
