Tim Marriner's Funeral expenses
`Tim was more than just another good square dance caller, he was a mentor, an inspiration, an example of some of the highest standards, but most importantly, we all called him our friend and our brother. Beyond his obvious individualized and highly polished skill was his passion for this activity and he gave so much of his life to it in an effort to make it a better experience for those who participated in it. Tim chose the vocation of square dance calling to support Donna and his family and in return, Donna graciously gave of Tim’s skill and talent to thousands of dancers and callers throughout the years. This page gives us the opportunity to give back to Tim’s Family; to express in some small way our thanks to Donna and remember Tim at the same time. Tim’s Family, going forward, will need support of every kind and your gift here will ensure Donna knows that we all appreciated all they have done for us. Tim Marriner will be missed by all who knew him; he was a remarkable man.
We loved Tim like a son, and enjoyed the many times he stayed with us. He will surely be missed . Our thought and prayers to you Donna and family.

A most Remarkable Man, A Teacher, A Mentor, part of God’s plan. Borrowed from Heaven to lead and to guide, Now has returned, to the Lord’s side. A gifted and caring, gentle young soul, Fulfilled his true calling, achieved all his goals. He sang with his heart, it was easy to see, That the Lord God above was as proud as could be. Today through the grief, the sadness and tears, It’s easy to question why Tim’s not here, For what is the purpose to take him away, With so many saddened by his loss today. Now God in His mercy took a good look, At Heaven’s green pastures, meadows and brooks, And he saw all this beauty but something was wrong, Sweet music was missing, there were no songs. With so many dancers at Heaven’s Gate, And so many places Heaven’s dancers must wait, The Good Lord needed a Remarkable Man, And that’s how Our Tim, fulfilled God’s plan. So quietly listen late at night, When evening doves coo to gentle star light, For beyond the night sky the sounds from within, Is a Square Dance in Heaven called by Our Tim.
Tim came to our club a couple of times in Maryland and my husband and I went on a cruise where he and Mike Sikorski called. It was terrific. His smile and joy lit up a room wherever he went. He will be missed. Our prayers will be with Donna and family and all who are grieving his loss.
I am shocked. I danced to him; I loved his calling and his attitude towards square dance. Although I don't remember how many times that I have danced to him, I was blessed, and he impacted my life through the joy he shared behind the microphone as well as off. He is and will be missed.
A good man, a wonderful talent! Our thoughts and prayers are with Donna and family. We will miss Tim very much.
