Hello Live Dream Create Shop friends, family, followers, and those we are about to meet!

In case we haven't met, my name is Krystal. I run a small art and gift shop in Hudson, Ohio called Live Dream Create Shop . I opened the shop in April 2015 after 5 years of selling my own work at art and craft shows in Northeast Ohio. My dream was to open a shop where I could bring artisans and shoppers together - whether the artists are long-time favorites, or new to selling their work. We now feature over 20 local artists, artisans, crafters, and creators on consignment, as well as Doki Doki Chocolate, 3Cat Collectible Toys (think Star Wars, Gundam, and Transformers), and my own handsewn felt creations (and workspace).

All of this awesomeness is housed in a mere 400 square foot space. If you've ever stopped by the shop - whether you are a regular customer, a 2nd Friday Art Hop attendee, an artisan dropping off items, or just poked your head in the door to see just what the heck we are - I'm sure you've realized that we really are a tiny (but growing) business! And growing is why we are here today...


After a year and a half in our currunt location in Hudson, an opportunity has presented itself that would allow us to expand from our tiny little shop tucked away in hard-to-find location, to a spacious 1000 square foot space in the heart of Barberton within eye-sight of the beautiful Lake Anna, and surrounded by several long established businesses! We are talking sculpted ceilings, hardwood floors, a ginormous display window, street parking right in front of the shop space, a parking lot across the street, monthly events similar to our current Art Hop, and several other great things I am sure I am forgetting to mention... all for about the same rent/utility costs we are paying right now. 


So why are we asking for your help?

Even though the rent won't change, unfortunately, moving comes with costs. Deposits, application fees, new permits/licenses, fire code inspections, moving truck time, a fresh coat of paint, advertising to announce the new location, are all needed to make the transition. 

Ideally, we would love to get the new location up and running in time for Christmas shoppers (early November through December) since prime gift shopping season is approaching quickly. In order to do so, we would need to complete the transition in September/early October. (Plus, no one likes moving in the winter when it's all snowy and cold!)


Any fundraising we can do in the next few weeks is crucial to getting the ball rolling as quickly as possible so we can expand our offerings, bring more artists and creators under one roof, and provide an even better shopping experience to our customers!
