Jak's fundraiser

Hi my name is Nicole and my Son Jak is going to do a sponsored walk from cunningsburgh to lerwick which is roughly 10miles, now 10 miles doesn't seem to far to an adult but Jak is 6 so thats a fair distance..
We plan to walk sunday the 11th of September weather permitting because Shetland is so unpredictable.
Jak is doing the walk for 3 charities Cancer research, macmillan and clan. These are 3 very close charities to us as Jak's GG (great grandad) has cancer and he desperatly wishes that someone out there will find a medicine that will work for everyone because sadly the medicine is no longer working for GG, macmillan because the nurses do a wonderfull job keeping us going and listning to us when we need to let of some steam or need a shoulder to cry on, Clan because they come to his school and make sure he is ok and play games with him and support us all through the difficult times.
He has set a target of £400 but i would love to see him smash that target and would be so thankfull if everyone could spare a pound or two and I know my amazing little guy would appreciate anything given to his cause.
