Surviving Unemployment

Hi. So, a bit of background. I was born with cerebral palsy, so I can't drive or stand very well. I work in IT, and currently live in the suburbs of Baltimore. I had been trying to bootstrap my career with a few contract jobs, but I was mistreated at my old job and looking for a permanent role now. But unemployment really doesn't pay much. I have shelter, but rent is due and I've been sleeping on the floor because my bed is still in storage. Please help me advance my career and my life.
