Childrens Book Series

My name is Maggie and I recently wrote a children's book series for the children of veterans, police officers and all first responders to help explain the after effects of their jobs when they get home. While publishing the first book (the fathers version for combat veterans) I realized how expensive it is to make a dream to help others a reality. I ran into tons of glitches along the way but finally figured it out! This campaign is being started so anyone that would like to help with the mothers version as well as the police officers version can. Any and all donations will go directly towards the illustrations of each page as well as formatting and printing copies for parents that have fallen on hard times and can't afford one for their child. There will be a hard cover, soft cover and ebook available for all books being produced. All progress will be PUBLIC on the book series Facebook page @whenmyveterancomeshome so you can see first hand what your donation is doing! Any donation above 200.00 will be featured in the next printed book as a special thanks and acknowledgement. Please help me help children understand the changes their parents go through when working in such tough atmospheres. You can see the video version of the book on my page as well at Maggie Rose Hundshamer. You may also email me at thank you so much and God bless!

I have fantastic news! The mothers illustrations are completely finished and it's being sent off for formatting!

All donations starting now are going towards the illustrations for the fathers police officer version of the book! All illustrations that will be worked on have been designed by an active police officer with young children so they will be as realistic as possible. Please help me spread the word so we can help an officers child!

All proceeds from the sale of the first book are donating free copies to service members returning from overseas. I have received so much positive feedback on this project and I thank each and every one of you for helping it along the way!

Help me "back the blue" by spreading the word or making a donation to help more children everywhere!

Hey guys! We received our first donation! The fathers combat veteran version of this book will be available within the week! The mothers combat versions illustrations are in the works and the first two pages have been completed already! We got a discount on the female versions illustrations since I'm sticking with the same artist! I will keep you all updated as we go! Here is a sneak preview of the mothers version! It may be a bit grainy since it's uploaded in low resolution. The draft in the book is 300dpi and perfectly clear!
