Billy Goodwin Cancer Campaign

Early on this September, Billy began his first line course of treatment for Stage IV extensive small cell lung cancer with Maine General in Augusta for best practice known chemotherapy (a recent second opinion we sought at Mercy in Portland validated this).  He has had one round and after two more will be re-tested for efficacy.  Mercy oncologist educated us that there are fast moving developments in cancer research/drug appprovals,  and to hold out some hope that if he goes into remission with the chemo,  he could be a candidate for these brand new immunontherapy clinical trials for second line treatment.  

We anticipate having to meet his out of pocket max deductible this calendar year and 2017 as well.   He is  in the process of closing down his long standing business as a supplier for industrial accounts in central maine, and contacting customers to liquidate his inventory as he is no longer able to drive to service them.  We have home repairs overdue for this fall/winter and property maintenance to attend to.  

Any funds contributed will be soley used to pay medical bills and deal with essentials that are crucial.  Any amount given is very sincerely appreciated.
