Help stop ELDER ABUSE of my sweet mother

 Hi Everyone…I’m fundraising to get my 80 year mother out of an abusive situation at the hand of her p.o.a., my sister.

I grew up in an extremely dysfunctional family; my sister being the crux. My sister and mother have a dangerous mental illness clash. My mother is diagnosed with severe clinical depression and dissociates and emotionally deregulates when faced with severe trauma. My sister is diagnosed bipolar (thought to be off her meds) and demonstrates the behavior of a malignant narcissist and of a sociopath. Forever my sister has been a coward bully. She was and still is mentally and emotionally abusive to my late father and my living mother.

My mother called me mid November to tell me that my father went in the hospital with pneumonia and gave me the room number. That was the last time I spoke with my mother. My sister coerced her into signing over p.o.a. and immediately started extorting, exploiting, and isolating my mother. When I called to check on my dad’s status, I was denied information. My mom’s sister was denied information as well. We didn’t know for a month if my dad was dead or alive. I found out two weeks after he passed when my cousin called me with condolences. No lifelong friends or anyone were told of my dad’s passing. I placed the obituary when I found out. In a million years this is not what my mother would have wanted. 

My mother is heavily sedated and just gone. She’s definitely not able to make decisions. My sister had her propped up like “What About Bob” in the eviction hearing and was coaching her from behind the camera.

I’ve been maintaining and living in a cabin my parents own in Northern Michigan. My parents and sister claimed no one was ever going to be back and asked if I would maintain the property. After my fathers passing, my sister had me

evicted in my mom’s name and had my car (illegally) towed 100 miles away. To this day I have no idea where my car is located. Two years ago covertly and callously conspired to close down my home business. 

I am broke, homeless, have no transportation, and unemployed. My goal is to get to Tulsa so I can help my mom. I’ve used all the savings and credit in legal bills thus far. I’m asking for funding to get to Tulsa, pay off bills, money to last me until my 1st paycheck comes in (I’ve have interviews set up), file for probate and civil litigation attorneys, and a van to call home. I’m in a bind right now as my bills are overdue and I have no money.

What I’m praying and visualizing is that my mom is able to go to a retreat for mental wellness to get her medication regulated, to get her stability de-programming of her mind and to participate in grief support groups. My mom deserves her last years to be filled with peace and contentment.
