Thompson's Flood Fund

Hello~  My name is Lexi DiPentino and I not only work with Miriam I am also blessed to have her as a friend.   I was able to meet Dwayne this summer and found that not only is Miriam one of the most caring people I know but Dwayne is as well.  This GoFundMe campaign is for Dwayne and Miriam Thompson.  They have unfortunately been affected by the recent floods in Louisiana and have lost everything! Their house is located next to the river so not only did the waters flood 7 feet high inside their house but after the waters receded 2 inches of mud was left behind to clean out of their house.  Miriam and Dwayne have already gutted their house down to the studs along with all of their belongings and appliances in the hopes of elevating any mold from growing.  Thankfully Miriam can work remotely from anywhere but Dwayne is unable to work at this time due to the type of job he performs and in turn he is not bringing in an income at this time.  Fortunately they have flood insurance; unfortunately they have a $4,000 deductible.  The money donated will not only help pay for their deductible but all living costs they have while being displaced from their home.  At the present time their son Levi is visiting family in Pennsylvania and has 2 shirts, a pair of pants and one pair of shoes, his clarinet and skateboard with him.  Please consider helping even if you can only give a few bucks...every penny counts!
