This past weekend, Caleb Stevens and his family were vacationing in the Traverse City area celebrating his 16th wedding anniversary with his wife Colleen and Children, Olya (10) and Landon (7) when suddenly there was a tragic car accident, the children only suffered minor injuries, and Colleen's mother still recovering from her injuries. Colleen is admitted to the hospital and suffering with signaifacant amount of severe injuries and having multiple surgeries, and Caleb was pronounced dead at the scene.
Caleb was a dedicated, loving, fun father and a best friend to his wife. They had just purchased a home in Lansing moving from the St. Johns area and unpacked their last box before leaving for their Anniversary vacation.
We are some of Colleen's work family.
We are trying to raise money to cover the costs of his funeral. This price range does not include the services at the funeral home, burial in a cemetry, and the installation of a headstone, but we certianally would like to try and put a huge dent in that cost, or help with any other exspenses that may arise along the way.
Going beyond this goal would mean the world to them.
If you are willing to prepare a meal for the family, that would be great too!
The drop off site for that would be 11555 Silverstone Lane, Grand Ledge, MI. 48837 between the hours of 8am-8pm M-F with the attention to Karen Martin or Traci Adams and we will gladly deliver it for you.
We cannot imagine the hurt she and their babies are feeling. We are praying for them, and they need your prayers too.
