Please Help Me Get to South Africa!

My Name Is Olivia Gordon. I am right now a senior at Howard University, studying Politics and English. My plan is to become an educator - focusing on special education and marginalized student populations, and exposing students to the world around them. I am raising money to fund a trip that I will be going on to South Africa in December where I will be able to explore and learn the culture of various cities in the nation, while completing comparative research on education in Soouth Africa. The trip is part of the Young Africana Leadership Initiative here at Howard. The trip will be from December 6th to December 18th. The trip will include visits to Cape Point, The Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation, and volunteer service. In order to go, I need $2100 to complete the costs of the trip, which includes travel, lodge, and everything once I get there. I work 3 jobs in order to take care of myself alone, and was able to save away $1500 to pay the first part of the costs, but am struggling to save the money for the rest of the trip. I need the second part ($1200) by October 8th, and the last payment ($300) buy November 20th. This would mean the world to me - to be able to finally see another part of the world in an effort to get closer to my goals. I have never left the country before, and this would be my opportunity to leave in order to bring back knowledge to the youth I work with. I would be forever grateful for whatever help I could receive as I continue to work to get the rest of the funding. It is not a lot of time to raise the money, but whatever I could raise would be really appreciated.
