Bruno and Rachel's House Flooding

Hi everyone!
I am Lucia Richardson, I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I am raising money for my dear friends,  the Paquot family, after they lost most of their belongings during Louisiana historic flood of 2016. 
Many people lost everything.  Home, furniture, car, you name it.  
So why give to this particular cause?
Bruno, Rachel and Lily Paquot have lost almost all their furniture, clothes, appliances and much more!
They lost the car they just bought a month ago. They lost their home as they know it.
They now have to repair everything to make it a home again, someday.
Like many, you will tell me.
But because they don't live in a "flooding" zone, they didn't purchase a flooding insurance. The everyday bills being already enough for them.
Like for many.
You see, Rachel and Bruno are very hard workers. Bruno is a dedicated and well-appreciated teacher who works after hours and during all vacations to make it.
Rachel is dedicated to her job and works long hours.
Their lovely daughter, Lily has faced many challenges in life since she was born prematurely at 5 months. 
She goes to a private school that meets her needs but that also adds to the amount of bills that the Paquots have to pay.
So why them?
Because they are a great, kind, generous, fun, open-minded family. They would save the world if they could. They are always there for others. They have faced many challenges in their lives and they still made the best of it. 
Now this? 
 I have known the Paquots for the past 12 years and have seen so much greatness in them that I cannot ignore their current situation.  
I am committed to help them as much as I can. Commited to give up buying new clothes, going to coffee and making useless expenses for myself. 
I am pledging to instead give to this fund what I can, when I can.  A little at a time.
No amount being too small.
They would do it for us.
Will we do it for them?
The funds raised will be spent to repair their house, the walls, the flooring, the electric outlets, to buy new furniture, new appliances. Every cent will be spent on repairing the life of this wonderful, loveable family.
I am thankful for all that are willing to help and know that Bruno, Rachel and Lily will be thankful beyond words.

It will take a long time, lots of effort, help, tears and money, but hopefully, thanks to our joined hearts, the Paquots will have a home again!
