Help Joshua Get A Service Dog

*****The money we raised from the Aunt Mary Pat Bingo night was put down as a deposit for a service dog through New Life Individual and Family Services. They have recently closed and took the money with them. We have tried to contact them with no success. We are completely devastated as they said we would be placed with a dog soon. 

This past years my family and I have been on a pretty awful ride. My sons, Joshua and Colton, were diagnosed with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. For those of you who don't know, it is a progressive, degenerative and ultimately fatal disease. Typically people with this disease live only into their 20s. If you see my children regularly, please don't discuss this in front of them because we're not ready for full disclosure. For those of you who don't know my boys, I just want you to get to know my sons. I want to put a face on Muscular Dystrophy.

We have now taken an active role in the fight against this disease for their son and DMD patients everywhere. The road ahead for us will be difficult, painful, and very expensive. I set this site up to aid with our struggle. Anything you give will go directly towards medicine, medical equipment, making our home wheelchair accessible when the time comes, or even just sending the boys on adventures.
