Pull for Pearson

As some of you may know, John Pearson is battling Stage IV colon cancer.  John is loved, admired and respected.  He is a husband, a son, a brother, a cousin, an uncle, a nephew, a friend and a colleague.  He is also now fighting for his life.

Hailing from McFarland, Wisconsin, John has spent most of his adult life making people happy.  As a chef, he has spent his career helping others celebrate special events and enjoy life by creating delicious food.  Anyone who knows John would agree that he is a larger than life character who is always laughing and enjoying himself in whatever he does whether it's sipping a fine wine, eating a good meal, enjoying music or pulling for the Green Bay Packers.

The truth is, most of us don’t think about the details of facing serious illness until we or someone we love is affected.  Many of us also think if we are insured, have good job benefits and family support we have nothing to worry about but recovery.  Unfortunately, the truth is insurance does not cover everything and in the face of diminishing income, bills and expense begin to pile-up.
