Help Libby become a mommy!

Let's help make Libby and Erik's dream to have a baby become a reality!

As some of you may know, due to a lengthy and emotional battle with endometriosis, Libby is unable to get pregnant without In vetro Fertilization. She has had multiple surgeries, including removal of her Fallopian tubes.

Before she was even diagnosed, I saw the pain she endured. There were countless doctor appointments, tests, and ER trips. No physical pain could outweigh the emotional pain after she was diagnosed (realized it effected her ability to have a baby).

Libby started babysitting at a very young age. Her love for children only grew as she became an adult. Libby chose a career where she can help children grow and be advocates for them. This career that she loves, however, is not provide addition income to help finance In vetro.

In addition, Libby has always chosen to do "the right thing". Through all of those hospital trips, she did not always have health insurance. Due to her incredible ethics, she has been continually paying on those bills.

In the past, I have suggested Libby to set up a gofundme, but she would not because she was afraid to ask for help.

For those who do not personally know her, Libby is my sister. She is a quiet, patient, selfless, understanding, and kind. She is also a private person who for the longest time was battling her condition and her pain on her own. She only recently started to open up about her struggles in hope to raise awareness, and help get assistance with making her dream come true with the potential hope to get her wish granted through Itworks.

So many friends, family, and strangers supported Libby and Erik by praying for her and liking, sharing, and commenting on her #mychristmaswish video.

Unfortunately, she was not one of the 12 recipients that got their wish granted. Libby's "window of opportunity" for In vetro may be closing due to the aggressiveness of her endometriosis...for this reason we (their family and friends) are hoping Libby and Erik will still get their wish!!!

Please help us make Libby a mom!!!

Hello!! My name is Shannon Bauer, Libby Poulsen and I work for a company called Itworks. We are a health and wellness company that helps indivuals live a healthier lifestyle.
On December 5th,2016 Mark Pentecost the CEO of Itworks announced they were going to grant 12 christmas wishes.  All we needed to do is use the hashtag #mychristmaswish while making a video of your wish.
My wish is for Libby who I have never met, to become a mother. You see, Libby has a condition where she can not get pregnant the good ol' fashioned way, she needs help and with that it is going to cost money for IVF. A mother to two step children with her husband Erik. She feels like a part of her is missing. I posted a video making this my wish, and soon after that Libby posted her wish. We both wished for the same thing. I am a mother to three beautiful children, and I dont know what I would do if I didnt have them. I want her to experience the baby movements, the sleepless nights, the uncondiditonal love with having your own children.

Those twelve days have passed and unfortunally she or myself were not selected to have our wishes granted. I am a firm believer that we will get libby and erik enough money so they can to be a mommy and daddy to their own child. I know if it wasnt for this company I would have never met Libby and her family! I am so blessed and honored to use my wish to help a complete stranger make a wish come true.
Libby and Erik are so deserving and I am hoping we can make their dream and wish come true. I have attached the links for libby's video as well as mine.

Although some of us were sad for Libby when the last wish was granted today, Libby said that she prayed and was at peace with any outcome because she was so happy for everyone else that had their wish granted. Every time we spoke with her about the wish that was just granted, she replied with, "how can you beat that?" That's the kind of heart that Libby has. She never comes first in her eyes. It's always her husband, her stepchildren Trevor and Taryn, her preschool kids, friends, family and even strangers that come first.

We are are not upset that Libby's wish was not granted as one of the 12 Christmas wishes the CEO from It Works was granted. We are thankful. We are thankful that Libby was finally able to set her fears aside and come out about her struggle because she made a video that was shared worldwide. She opened up when we never thought that she would come out and ask for help. The CEO from It Works Global, Mark Pentecost has inspired Libby enough to make her realize that her dreams can become reality if she just believes in herself enough. #mychristmaswish isn't over yet! Libby has finally opened up and was asking for help and we are here to help her Christmas Wish come true one way or another!

Any amount helps!  Thank you for taking time out of your day/night to help Libby and Erik!
