 MARRERO, LA
Hi my name is Debbie Bland and am proud to be a Mother and Granna, I currently live in Marrero, LA and  would like to help out my son Trent Bland, his wife Meghan and my two beautiful grandchildren.

The lost almost everything in the South Louisiana Flood on Saturday August 13, 2016, their home is located in Central, LA . The did not have Flood Insurance as it was not required there was only a .3% chance that it would ever Flood there. Their homeowners insurance denied their  claim because it was a Flood.

They need to begin cleaning out and rebuilding their home, and they are starting the process today on August 16, 2016. They will also need to buy furniture and all appliances.  Please help, no amount is too small, if you have ever been  a young family with small children you can only imagine how difficult this is.

I'd like to thank each and every one of you, God Bless, your contribution will help restore their family home.

Sincerely,
Debbie Bland

On Saturday 8/20/16 family and friends came together to help Trent & Meghan. The piles of trash along the streets proved to be an unbelievable sight, this pile is in front of Trent & Meghan's and the ray of light coming down was an inspiring sight! Together we all accomplished a good bit, they have a long road ahead, but one day at a time they will rebuild and move back home. Thanks to all who have helped them so far, many blessings to you all! Louisiana Strong! Louisiana Proud!
