Seventeen years ago, Austin Yaworsky was born with Cerebral Palsy. At the age of two Austin learned how to walk with a walker, and quickly fell in love with life on the farm. It was at an early age, that Austin's parents realized Austin wanted to do more than what may be offered to him due to his condition.
Today, Austin his spends his days, nights, and every waking minute either working with his animals or helping his dad on the farm. Unfortunately, due to the limitations of his current wheelchair, provided to him by his Insurance company, Austin does not have the ability to get around the farm to do the things he loves such as feeding animals, walking his cows, and helping his father in the fields.
Since he was a little boy, Austin’s long term goals were to raise cattle on his family’s farm and work on his Uncle’s farm. In order to do these things, Austin requires a chair that can get him in and out of mud, in and around the cattle, and up and down the barn aisles. To do these things, along with many other things, Austin needs a chair that can take him from the sitting position, up to the standing position to allow for him to use his hands freely. Additionally, he needs a chair that has been proven successful in all terrains, as farming happens year round no matter what the weather conditions.
Austin’s friends and family are raising money to help Austin purchase the Action Track Chair seen in the video. Action Track Chair generously allowed Austin to test drive the chair out on his family farm back in March. As seen on the video, the chair was able to go through all terrains and provide Austin the ability to get up into the barns with his cows in the upright position, just after roughing it through the mud. We are asking for your blessings and donations to help his family raise enough money to purchase the Track Chair and accessories that would afford Austin the ability to be more independent to do the things he loves.
