Valencia road to recovery fund

Donation protected
My name is Valencia and I would love to share my story with you with the help of my auntie Belinda Davies.
Kia ora, my name is Belinda Davies. I am a sister to Valencia's mum Ene Paea.  My niece  has contracted what is called the Stevens- Johnson Syndrome (SJS) and is in Rotorua hospital under the guidance of Starship Hospital, Auckland after first being diagnosed with chicken pox symptoms.
It hurts me to talk about this sickness and look at my niece and see what it is doing to her so I humbly ask that you go online and read about (SJS).
The pain and suffering will according to information recieved, will have a long term affect on my niece. It is a rare disease which has ravaged her body so quickly.
The concern for my sister is that she needs to continue to work as her husband recently lost his job due to the local timbermill being closed down. All together this is taking a tremendous toll on my sister financially, mentally and physically.
Her husband  stays home caring for their four other children, two being pre-school.
Any donations recieved will be used to help  get my mum and dad back to NZ to stay with Valencia while she is in hospital while my sister is at work. To help my sister with household expenses, medical expenses such as medications, visits to appointments and rehabilitation.
Valencia has three sisters and a brother so my sister is a full on mother who has been beside her baby since day one trying to be strong for her baby, but last night while changing her daughters gown Valencia saw how her body had changed and said to her mum that she was scared. My sister said she broke down sobbing holding her daughter.  I know in my heart my niece is a surviver, she is strong and she has a family and friends that love her and care for her and guardian angels who are watching over her.
Before I sign of I would like to thank each and every person that takes the time to read this and share my story so that people can be aware of this virus and to be vigilant and act quickly. Families are forever.
Thank you and god bless.
