Flood Relief For The Ziffer's/Tull's

Louisiana's devastating flood of 2016 took everything from my mom. She has worked her butt off to be able to pay our house off. It is her life. She has lived there with not only myself, but my brother, Johnathan who won his battle against a life threatening, cancerous brain tumor , and my younger sister Amber. She has always provided for us. I want to be able to provide for her now. I am hoping to raise enough money to rebuild her house and leave her without a mortgage, the same way that she left her house in fight for her life. She deserves this more than anyone else I know. Anything you can donate will help. My grandmother is still waiting to be rescued at a hotel. I'm in Indiana now, and there is little I can do. So I am setting up this page to do for my mom, what she can't for herself. Anything helps. I cannot explain what this damage is doing/has done.

After rebuilding my mother's house, if possible I plan to use any remaining money to assist my grandmother in fixing up her house.

Almost all of these houses were outside of the national map's flood zones. This was not supposed to happen to them. There are thousands of people that have already been rescued, and thousands more that will need to be rescued in the coming minutes.

Water has risen at rates of more than a foot an hour in most areas. There is no fighting this war with Mother Nature. All we can do is come together as people to help one another out.

Alongside this page, I am trying to get my law school, their sister school, and my community in Indiana to stand by me in making care packages and collecting funds to help those displaced. If you can hold off on drinking that extra beer and, instead, use that money for a good cause, you will touch more lives than you realize.
