WPU FC U-14 BROWN

We are the West Pines United U-14 Brown Girls Football Club, located in Pembroke Pines, Florida.  We are a travel team that is playing in the Florida  State Premier League.  Our team has 22 girls striving to become the number one team in the state of Florida.  They are coached by Valney Brown.  Coach Brown is recognized as one of the best soccer coaches in Florida.  In 2015 Coach Brown was voted the number one High School coach in Palm Beach County, Florida.  With the determination of the girls and the experieince Coach Brown brings to the field, we believe the girls can achieve their goal of becoming the number one team in the state.  The team already has two girls who are part of the U-13/14 Olympic Development Team.  We have several other team members who will be trying out for the team in October.  Our home field is located 60 miles from Pembroke Pines.  We are scheduled to play 32 league games and about 10 tournaments in and out of the state.  All funds raised will cover the cost of the referees, coaches travel expenses, and tournament entry fees.  The season begins on August 20, 2016 and continues through May 30, 2017.  We would appreciate all donations be in place by September 16, 2016.  Your generosity will allow the girls to focus on school and soccer.  If we are forced to use alternative fund raising methods which will require the girls to take time from their study and practice schedule, they could become overwhelmed and experience a decline in their academic performance.  We wouldn't want to see the girls goig through this added stress.  Coach Brown refuses to play girls who do not maintain their grades.  We have established a Facebook page:  WPU Brown; please become friends with us and enjoy the journey we are on.  This will enable those who were able to donate to the the team and those who could not to follow the team.  We will post pictures and comments from practices and games.  Not only will your genrosity  help the team more than words can describe.  It will greatly alleviate the out of pocket cost for the parents.  We are not only responsible for the cost previously identified.  We are responsible for our own travel expenses such as gas, food, hotel, etc.  There is nothing any of us can say or do to thank everyone for donating to this just cause.
