Glioblastoma-brain cancer
I am a scientist who has worked in Boston and other places, I have a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Zaire/Congo after a college degree in Chemistry from LaSalle University. I was at UMASS Lowell for a Biology degree (M.S.). NIH funded research predoctoral research (Saint Louis University, (SLU)-on a genetic disease MPSVII (Sly Syndrome-Adisor-Dr. Bill Sly) lysosomal storage disorder) and I did NIH postdoctoral research at MGH with MAC- Dr. Robert McCluskey, Chief Pathologist). Howard Hughes Medical Institute supported research at Harvard Medical School in Boston (cloned TBX5 in a heart-hand disease with the Dr. Seidmans). We later received patents for cancer gene therapies (Intrexon) and FDA approvals for DNA/genes for genetic disorders (cystic fibrosis,,,).

Thank you so much for helping my needs for brain cancer and treatment. I will visit MD again soon with glialblastoma. I do need help from others now and thank you all for helping. I have worked at maintaining good treatment. I greatly appreciate any and all help. Thank you so much.

My dad survived GBM after surgery, radiation and temozolomide at univ of Cincinnati. the odds are not in your favor, but they gave my dad a 2% chance and he was in that 2%. He died years later in his 70s of congestive heart failure unrelated to the GBM. I will pray for you as I prayed for my dad.
Glad to hear good tidings, Dave. Please don't say terminal! We are all terminal -- you just know more than some of us.

So sorry to hear the news, David. Do you know Cyberknife? @CyberKnifeRS http://www.cyberknife.com A brain cancer patient I happen to know (young woman) has been successfully treated (tumor shrinking) and she is doing fine (10 years after diagnosis). Please keep us informed...

David has passed away today and is finally at peace. May the angels lift his spirit. He was so grateful for all of your prayers.
David has entered the hospice phase of his brain cancer. He has been to weak to give any updates but thanks everyone for their support throughout his illness. Prayers for comfort and peace are appreciated.
Praying for you. May courage and peace fill your heart with every challenge you so bravely face.

My father, Dr. Robert Bachinsky supported me for decades and he died yesterday. It is a very sad update that I thought I should share since it does impact my situation. I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you again. Best, David
