Hi guys! My name is Tyler Jones, and I'm trying to raise the money to get home from Madrid, Spain to Louisville, KY. "How does that happen?" Let me tell you:
I began attending the Mountain Training School in November of 2016, and the first course was here in Spain. Unfortunately, due to the Department of Veterans Affairs not paying both them and the students (including myself) in any sense of a timely manner, the company has declared bankruptcy and now there are dozens of people all over the world wondering what to do next. I am one of those people.
The VA had severely messed up my paperwork regarding enrollment into the school and as a result, I have not been paid yet by them, and with the circumstances that have arisen recently, I am now stuck in a foreign country, now with no money and no place to stay after the 5th of January 2017.
I am asking for enough money to help me get home before then, and not a penny more. For those of you who know me, you know that I hate to do this, but I don't see any other viable options. I can't guarantee any sort of financial repayment, but I am more than willing to figure something out. Any requests that can be reasonably met will be.
