Todd Eric Terry Memorial Fund
Todd was an endearing and devoted husband to his wife Yvette and a caring father to his two sons Tyler and Tavis. He was a self-employed licensed contractor for the past 25 years, building a modest but comfortable home for his wife and children. In addition to Todd’s work, he was actively involved in every aspect of his son's lives; from their schooling, extracurricular activities and serving as the assistant coach on their baseball team, he was ever-present.
Todd was truly loved by everyone, but none more than the young men he coached and mentored on a daily basis. Being raised by a single mother, Todd understood the importance of positive male role models, and committed his life to the support and outreach of our youth. Never one to miss an opportunity to connect, uplift and enrich a child’s life, Todd was affectionately given the nickname of “Pops”. Pops was always generous with his time, resources, and words of wisdom. He was extremely loyal and supportive to anyone he considered family or friend.
As each day passes, the realization that life must go on without Todd, has been the most difficult thing to accept. Understanding that his wife is now a widow and his children are fatherless, is truly heartbreaking. We are most certainly comforted by the love, kind words and condolences we have received from our friends and extended family, however we also decided to create this campaign as a way for people to show love and support to his children Tyler and Tavis; by contributing to the future cost of their college education.
If you are not able to contribute financially and would like to help in another way, we encourage you to share this campaign link within your networks or donate in any way you feel comfortable.

This horrible act hits my soul beyond belief. The loss of such a good man. Sad also is my knowing the murder and his family. His mother took care of mine years ago. She and I have kept in touch since my mother's passing in 2005. I phone her maybe twice a year just to say hi. A month ago I spoke with her and she mentioned her son was not well and she was busy getting him help. She asked me to pray for him. Then, weeks later came the call with her sobbing.....I could hardly understand her. All I could make out was he was arrested. Days later I read about this. I know justice needs to be served.......knowing what I know.....I will pray for both families.
Deepest condolences! I'm speechless. I don't want to even try to imagine the pain you are all feeling inside. Prayers for your family to find some inner peace...sometime soon!
Our deepest condolences from my family to yours, even though I never met you, but my heart hurts for you and your family...sending blessings and prayers your way. I pray they'll be justice for your husband, and to those who lost their love ones in a similar situation...

This saddens me so much. I just used craigslist to purchase a car, that could have easily been me. My heart goes out ro your family during such a difficult time. This really is hitting me hard, although i have never met this family the reality of the dangers of craigslist are real and to think what if i didnt come home and my family was left behind is scary. If this story has touched one person to never use craigslist again, its touched me, i will never use it and i will tell my friends to do the same. Condolences to your family. The Schrock Family-Novi Mi
I am so very sorry for your loss...My cousin Jimmy "jimbo" McCasslin was murdered in cold blood because he went to Detroit to buy a 4Wheeler from an ad on Craigslist he lost his life over $300.00, we lost a great man, father, husband, son cousin and friend, the police NEVER caught my cousins killer, they have not looked very hard! Jimmy had a wife and three very small children, 3, 5 and 10 who will never see their Daddy again, praying maybe they can link this guy to his murder as well, we have no peace!
