Buttercup's vet expenses

Hello, my name is Chris.
As you saw in the video, this is a fund to help support my beautiful cat, Buttercup.
She was diagnosed with 'Chronic Renal Failure' recently, and is still currently receiving treatment, and she will continue to need treatment for the rest of her life... Yes, at 14 years old she is an older cat, but before she started showing symptoms of this disease, she would still behave like such a kitten: Bouncing around, and tearing up the house at night. Because of this I know she still has life in her.
I've already spent $1,100 on her medical bills, and while many think that i'm foolish for spending that much on a cat, she's not just 'a cat' to me, she is a member of my family, and I know other pet lovers feel the same way about their own pets.
I'm not the best at asking for help and was trying to avoid it, especially when here in Louisiana there are people who need help more than I do, but the medical cost for Buttercup is only growing. Being in college, I don't really have that much to support her with as it is, but I will continue to do what I can to support her now when she needs me the most.
I don't think I could stand it if she was euthanized just because I couldn't afford it, but at the rate it's going... that's becoming more and more my only option if I don't want her to suffer...
Please help me push that option away.
