David Young Jr. "D-Man"

Donation protected
On October 2, 2015, the life of David Young Jr. changed forever.  “DMan” was critically injured during the Adna vs. Napavine football game.  At Centralia Providence Hospital, Xrays showed fractures to his C1 and C2 vertebrae and DMan was immediately transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.  Many critical and difficult decisions regarding David’s future health and well being had to be made by he and his family and D is currently fitted with a Halo device to attempt to keep his spinal cord aligned. If the halo device shows significant improvement, David will be wearing it for a minimum of 3 months.  If all goes well at that point, he will “graduate”   with baby step to braces and endless therapy. Surgery is still not out of the question for “D” as he is still in Harborview Medical Center with a team of doctors continually monitoring his progress. He will spend many months visiting his surgeons, doctors and therapists.

Linda, as we know, has not left his side and she wont.  Her time loss from work, out of pocket medical expenses, travel and other simple expenses will be a burden for a committed mom to 3 amazing young men.  This is an attempt to ease the financial burden that is bound to occur as well as provide some support for Linda and her boys. Every little bit will help and THANK YOU!
