I am a volunteer with the Tangi Humane Society, a privately run, no kill, animal shelter in Hammond, Louisiana.  As you all know, we have had extensive flooding in the area and, as a result, the shelter was consumed by fast rising river water and we had to evacuate all of the animals.  Tangi operates on a donation only basis and, needless to say, they have lost everything and need help!  Randy and his wife Lynda are the owners and also live on the property and they have lost everything they have worked for their entire lives.  They need money to rebuild their home and the shelter so they can continue to save babies! There was no insurance on the property.  So, we, as volunteers, are asking for help to get this wonderful place back up and running. It is a much needed service in this area and Randy and Linda have devoted and dedicated their lives to rescuing and helping abused and neglected animals.  Please, let's show them how much they are needed and appreciated!
