Help with Carol's Recovery
Carol was attacked, robbed, and stabbed while attempting to enter her home in Savannah in the early hours of 14 August 2016. From a WSAV article:
Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Robbery Unit needs help identifying the suspect in an armed robbery on the 100 block of Hall Street. The event left a 32 year old Savannah woman seriously injured.
At about 3:30 a.m., Metro responded to the scene after reports of an armed robbery. Responding officers located the victim, with visible stab wounds. News 3 now has learned she suffered stab wounds that may result in the loss of her eye. She was transported by ambulance to Memorial University Medical Center for treatment.
Police report the victim was attempting to enter her residence when an unidentified male suspect, armed with a knife, approached and demanded her purse. The victim told police that she was stabbed before she could comply. She fought the suspect off with her bicycle and entered her residence. The suspect ran east on Hall Street with the victim’s belongings.
All of the money raised will be used for Carol's medical bills and other expenses as she recovers. Carol is such an amazing person, and any amount we can give her I'm sure will help immensely after what she's been through. With the friendship and joy Carol has given all of us, I hope we can all band together to return the favour.
Cigar City Brewing & World of Beer Savannah are proud to partner up to help out a close member of our extended families. 100% of the money raised will be donated to a GoFundMe started on her behalf to help her through these tough times. She has a long road to recovery.

Wow. That's all I can say right now. What happened to me Sunday morning was terrifying. I fought the best I could but still took a few blows. I was stabbed in the right eye but was able to block the attempt to get my left eye with my shoulder and some where in there I was stabbed in the chest. Beyond any of the craziness of the attack has been the pure power and energy of this community of diverse friends I have cultivated over the years. Y'all astound and humble me with your generosity and love. My hospital room has been a place of joy and love filled with essential oils and flowers.
My heart is so warmed by this much love. One crazed person can't stop me from living a life of adventure, joy, and happiness.
I cannot stress it enough I love you all and I'm so grateful for your warm, kind hearts.
Please keep visiting. I love laughing with y'all.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
