On Sunday, July 31, the home of the Davis family was destroyed by fire. With the exception of the clothes on their backs and contents of their vehicles, everything was lost.
Despite reasonable insurance coverage, this tragedy presents financial challenges for the Davis family as they struggle to rebuild.
Thanks to their modest lifestyle and reasonable efforts to insure themselves against loss, the immediate needs of the family can easily be addressed by the generosity of their friends and family.
Four members of the family are members of the Civil Air Patrol, a volunteer organization dedicated to the service of others in need. As their squadron commander, I have witnessed their selfless support of this volunteer organization, I hope that others will join me in helping this proud family get back on their feet.
