Mountain Trike wheelchair for Tonya

Tonya is a wife, a mother, and a dedicated outdoor person.
She's most at home in the garden or going for long walks in the forest. Also a keen archer, she loves Field Archery, which combines her love of forest walks with her love of archery.
In 2013 Tonya was diagnosed with a degenerative spinal condition, syringomyelia. A cyst, called a syrinx, has formed in her spine and is compressing her nerves and destroying her spine. There is no cure.
In the last three years Tonya has gone from an active outdoor life, to using a crutch, then two crutches, and now she needs a wheelchair to get around.
For someone as previously active and loving of an outdoor life this is a crushing situation as most normal wheelchairs handle even the 'simple' off pavement terrain found in country walks very badly.
There are wheelchairs out there designed for this exact purpose, but they're not cheap or easily affordable.
We're here at GoFundMe to raise the money we need to get Tonya a Mountain Trike; a wheelchair built specifically to handle rough and off-road terrain.
With a Mountain Trike, Tonya can not only go out and enjoy a woodland walk or have fun in the park with her daughter and dog, but can also go back to her Archery with a chair that can cope with the trails on a Field Archery course as well as the grassland used for target archery.
If we're able to raise the money for Tonya's Mountain Trike it will give her a new lease of life, and that's something that we can never be grateful enough for.
