Lunch campaign with Glen Comeaux

I first met Glen Comeaux shortly after moving to Seattle.  My relationship with him, has led to virtually every other motorcycle friendship I've had since.   Back in '13, there were maybe a dozen or so of us that 'started' the PNW Super Tenere Owner's Group.  Today, we are the single largest regional group and certainly one of the most organized Tenere riding groups in the country.  This is largely due to the ambitions of Glen Comeaux.   Why he hasn't been hired by the North American Yamaha marketing department still remains one of life's unsolved mysteries.

If you haven't met Glen yet, then your life is incomplete. He's one of the most unassuming, humble and generous persons that I've ever met.   Always happy, strapped with his great sense of humor and a huge cajun smile, his attitude about just getting out for a ride is ceaseless. Our tiny group has grown steadily, now boasting over 300+ members.  That's truly amazing.   He's constantly reviewing books, movies, helmets, baggage, boots, belts, jackets, gloves, tires, safety equipment...and every farkle known to mankind.  He's impacted our riding community more than anyone else I can think of.

So, now he's taking a trip.  You know, the kind that the rest of us are only dreaming about.  A six month tour of the lower 48 states.   You know that you'll follow his daily trip reports.  You'll get to meet the people that he meets along the way.  He'll share campsites.  And maintenance issues.  And stories from dirt roads that none of us have endoured.  It will be a joy to watch him knock out state after state.   His stories should be entertaining for sure.  Indeed, he'll be 'taking' all of us along with him.

My request of you is this; Please consider buying lunch for the guy.   You know, a simple lunch.  Nothing fancy. There are over 300 of us in our group alone; we should be able to feed him well, indeed.  Personally, I'm giving him a gift of $15.   As a token of my appreciation for what he's done for me, for the relationships that exist soley from his efforts.  A financial nudge that he'd never ask for, but who is most deserving of.

Glen has no knowledge of this request and has nothing to do with its creation; I hope you'll consider a token push.  I'd like to see him be successful, this is my way of helping him out.  Anything raised will go directly to him.   Please consider joining me.

Respectfully,
