Cortland Loaves & Fishes

Friday (7/29/2016) Grace and Holy Spirit Church experienced a fire. Cortland Loaves & Fishes, an independent 501 C3 organization providing meals to disadvantaged individuals in Cortland County has been hosted at the church for 30 years. While the program did not sustain any significant damage, we have had to relocate to temporary quarters. Our staff is working overtime to coordinate managing storage and access to both food and other necessary supplies. Additionally, the lack of storage space will increase our food cost. The program will also not be able to take advantage of some of our normal food sources such as the Central New York Food Bank. We are unsure at this time when the church will be ready to host the program again. Donations at this time will be used to help cover increased costs for day to day operations until we are able to return to Grace and Holy Spirit Church.
