My friends, Matt and Lexi, owners of The Rumor Mill Fusion Restaurant and Bar, have recently had their restaurant destroyed in the flooding on Main Street, Ellicott City.
The massive waters forced Matt and his staff to evacuate the restaurant, including 47 guests, up a ladder, to the rooftop, and over a 6 foot privacy fence to safety.
Needless to say, the 6 1/2 feet of water that engulfed the lower level of the restaurant has caused significant damage. Rebuilding will take a lot of time and money and although I am sure insurance (will eventually), help pay for some of the damage and restoration, I am sure it will not cover everything.
The restaurant is the family's livelyhood. Please consider helping this wonderful family rebuild their dream. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.
