Appeal for dog mobility wheels

Hi everyone - my name is Major - 3 weeks ago i was saved
Three weeks ago today I was in the Pound after being abandoned there by my owner - they had left instructions that I could be put to sleep. But the vet had left 5 minutes beforehand, and wouldn't return till after the weekend - so that is where my luck changed.
So many kind offers came through to help me - but I am an old boy and have a lot of complications - many of which had never been treated.
That morning 2 kind ladies, Katy and Mags, came in at 11am and took me out of the pound - it was so lovely to feel the fresh air and to be off death row - but I was so overcome I peed myself and my back legs just wouldn't work.
The girls rushed me to the vets. Here I met the lovely Anna who said I am under-weight and that I have old injuries from an accident that has gone untreated - that's why my back legs are weak. I also am missing some toes and have scarring. I am now on medication for my arthritis and I'm feeling better already. The vet has said I am very healthy for my age apart from my old weak back legs and it's just a matter of time before my legs give in and I'm sent to the rainbow bridge prematurely. But this is how my wheels would save my life.
They say I am 13 years old but I still love to play ball and try follow my dog family on the evening walk even though my back legs wont carry me. Which is frustrating because my front legs are so strong, this is why I need my doggy mobility wheels so I can keep up with the rest of the pack. Not all of us pound dogs get a second chance at a fresh start so I don't intent to let mine end prematurely due to my weak back legs.
So from the bottom of this old heart if you could spare a donation anything at all it would mean the difference between life and death for me.
