Moose's Family could really use our help. To save his life his family did all they could and in turn it really hurt them financially. These are great people who would do anything for their furbaies, and it would be absolutley appreciated if we could help them. Hopefully to see Moose into a full recovery. This is not something that anyone could plan for.  Please share and not just for money but awareness of the situation to help find someone who might know who did this, or seen anything. On Tuesday July 26th, I came home around 5:45pm to find my cat Moose with a devastating injury to his face. I didn't know it at the time, but he'd been shot with a .22. The bullet went through the bridge of his nose at a diagonal, took out his left eye, & exited the eye socket. There was nothing that even resembled an eye, just a mass of blood. I called the vet & rushed him in. He stayed 2 nights at the vet getting surgery the following morning. We are so mortified that someone would do this on purpose. Moose is the sweetest boy ever, he didn't deserve this!! As you can imagine, surgery for anything is never cheap, but we had to do it. My husband and I don't have children together, Moose is like our child. We've exhausted savings, loans, & Care Credit. We were lucky enough to get a generous donation from 4 Paw Love for $250. The total bill was$1466. We eventually came up with $1216 ourselves, but this is definitely going to hurt us. We're not ones to ask for help, but we don't know what else to do. Any donations we'd be grateful for. If we get it all back, great, if not in the end we're just blessed that Moose is alive!! As far as knowing who did this, no leads yet, but still holding out hope in case someone knows something. This person should pay dearly. We're now fearful for our other cat's lives, & they shouldn't have to suffer being quarantined inside. Again we AND MOOSE appreciate ANY help, thank you ahead of time!!
