Anastasia (Sia) Georgandis, 31, sadly passed away on July 31, 2016. From a young age, Sia always had a love of writing and knew that was what she wanted to devote her life to. Starting as a cub reporter in her freshman year at Dulaney High School, Sia had achieved the coveted status of Editor-In-Chief of The Dulaney Griffin by the time she reached her senior year. Sia continued to pursue this passion into her professional career where she was most recently a Managing Editor for Stansberry Research LLC. Sia shared her skills, enthusiasm and energy with all those around her, and her family and friends would like to honor Sia’s legacy by establishing a scholarship fund for local aspiring journalism students.

Please help The Sia Georgandis Scholarship Fund for Aspiring Journalism Students by making a contribution to help start the fund.

You may also send checks to The Sia Georgandis Scholarship Fund at 1217 St. Paul St. Baltimore, MD 21202. Please make checks payable to “The Sia Georgandis Scholarship Fund.”
