Hair For Melody

Hello,  My name is Fabiola Pimentel. I am the mother of Melody Pimentel who unfortunately has a hair loss condition called Moniletrix... Moniletrix is a rare autosomal dominant hair disease that results in short, fragile, broken hair that appears beaded. It is caused by mutations affecting the genes. There is no treatment for this condition whatsoever.. Melody is currently 4 years old & is suffering from self-esteem issues at such a young age. As her mother I feel helpless knowing my daughter wants hair & finds it unfair that she cant have "Normal" hair. Myhusband & I constantly remind her how much she is loved. Unfortunatly, that isnt enough. She is hoping she gets Ariel (The Little Mermaid) Hair because what lil girls doesnt want to be a mermaid? ...The funds raised for Melody will be used to be able to help Melody get wigs made from real hair, That will allow her to feel beautiful the way we all see her. As her mom, Like all mothers out there our only wish is to see our children happy.... Im hoping that the wigs will make her feel like the princess she is & we can help inspire other kids going through the same problem...
