Thank you for the amazing and generous outpouring of love for my brother and his family. I want to share with you all a few more insights into who he was. Robert loved Morgan deeply. He lovedid his daughters, his ranch and his race cars. His many friends will remember his willingness to lend a hand and to offer whatever he could to help others. He dies how he lived, helying others. Please continue to love, support, and pray for Morgan, Aubrey, and Colbie. Thank you again.
A monument the fireman built at the crash site.

This is Roberts mom. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for all the prayers, kind words, and money that has been received. Nothing will every replace the son, husband, father, and bother he was, but this helps to alleviate the worry of raising his sweet little girls. Thank you all.

Robert was a "True Gentleman" and a very special friend of our family. He talked about his wife and daughters with so much love that he filled our hearts. I wish we had more time to know him better , but he never slowed down. Always helping somebody and his stamina and energy was admirable. Rest in peace Robert . You and your family fill our hearts and prayers always. Paul & Nancy Smith- North Fork

I understand that people would wonder if this is legit since some do take advantage at times such as these. However, I don't understand asking that question on this page. It is much easier to do the research to find out. This man leaves behind a wife and two little girls who's lives will never be the same, who are experiencing one of the most horrendous tragedies that creates a pain that so deeply penetrates the soul. He also has other family and friends that feel that same unbearable pain, yet someone has the nerve to ask them If their mourning is legit. Yes, it is. So I hope that nobody else asks that. Not trying to rag on the person who asked, especially since he apologized, and since some people do take advantage and attempt to raise money in these situations. I just hope that nobody else asks and does some research if they want to know, instead of asking the people who are trying to grieve. I love you dearly, Morgan and I am praying for you and the girls, as well as the rest of Robert's family during this time. Know that I am here if you need anything at all.

People like you don't get the attention and the appreciation, until something bad happens. I wished I could have thanked you in person, told you that by doing a dangerous job, you help people and make a difference in their lives, however anonymously it might be. Best of luck to your family in the time ahead.

Morgan, Save these posts for your children to read some day. It will give them a sense of what kind of father their dad was and how much he unselfishly sacrificed in Public Service. We are so very sorry for your loss, you, the girls and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Reagan Family, I am from Georgia and while I do not know you personally, I feel a deep connection to this tragedy. I visited Carmel/Big Sur in May and was overwhelmed by genuinely nice people and unprecedented natural beauty….even thought about relocating. It was all this and more that Mr. Reagan was trying to protect. Mr. Reagan and the other brave people who continue to fight this fire to save people, their property and the natural beauty of the region are our heroes. Fallen heroes are never lost. Their memory gives strength to the rest of the world to carry on with courage.

WOW, I am blown away by the generosity of all of you. $5 or $5000 does not matter you have all done what you can. This is at over 94K which is un believable. Robert was my nephew, my sister’s son and more than anything my friend. We may not have seen each other often living in different states but we did talk regularly. I am flying in this weekend for the services. If you are there and see a big bald guy (with probably puffy eyes from crying) come up and say Hi
