Although the U.S. presidential race and images of a tsunami of domestic and international killings occupy U.S. television screens, the systematic murder by U.S. drones is continuing off screen and totally without comment.

But we have a BOLD hard-hitting plan to bring these drone killings into U.S. living rooms.

To this point, U.S. drones have taken over 7,180 lives in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Somali; no tally has been kept of drone assassinations in the other countries engulfed in war – Iraq, Syria and Libya. These killings, as you know, violate international law requiring due process and a variety of principles established in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, signed by the U.S. after World War II.

And these killings, quite understandably, are a major factor generating hatred against the U.S. and determination to kill Americans.  This is a point underscored by former U.S. drone operators in a 2015 letter to President Obama and the head of the Central Intelligence Agency.

But we can help stop the insanity. We have produced television commercials – to run on CNN, MSNBC and other networks – to tell the truth to the American people.

And, you can help stop this lawless drone killing that not only kills and traumatizes overseas but contributes to sense within the U.S. that people can take it upon themselves to act as judge, jury and executioner.

Please contribute to placing this commercial on television networks around the U.S., particularly those in communities such as Las Vegas and Syracuse, NY, which are near major U.S. drone control centers.

We have been given a $10,000 matching grant to do this. Please contribute now to help us meet that grant, and to get this campaign underway. It's a matter of life. And death.

Over the last two weeks donations have been coming in, and we are really encouraged by your support. We hope to launch a new series of ads shortly, including at least one addressing white supremacy as fueling U.S. imperial wars, with drones an dramatic example. Please circulate our appeal and send in a donation if you can. In solidarity, Nick Mottern

We are restarting this campaign after having reached our $10,000 matching grant goal in April 2017. Now we are out to raise $20,000 to meet a new matching grant in that amount. This will be used not only for putting counter-drone war ads on cable TV but also for ads urging military personnel with other duties to withdraw their support for the current U.S. wars. These are wars of empire that must be stopped. Thank you for your continuing support. Nick Mottern - Coordinator, Knowdrones.com

We have succeeded in meeting the $10,000 matching grant goal through a variety of means, and are now working to meet the challenge of raising an additional $20,000 to meet a new matching grant. Thank you to all who so generously gave to our original appeal.

Use of drones is cowardly, war-profiteering, against international law, and most importantly it's immoral.
