Airfare to China for Scholarship!

Hello, my name is Chris Bullock, and I am trying to raise money to fly to China. I received an offer to attend classes at University of Jinan, on scholarship, for two years. Upon graduation, I would receive a degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.
I have been learning Mandarin for a few years now. When I returned to school, I was in my thirties, and went to Community College of Denver. I enrolled in Chinese on a whim, and did well. I took a placement test and earned a semester in Shanghai in 2014. Upon my return, I was a Work Study at the Confucius Institute in Denver for two semesters. This year, I accompanied CCD students on a cultural summer camp in Jinan City, Shandong Province, China. It was there that I was offered the option to return and earn a degree, tuition and board paid for. Once I return to the USA, I can enroll in some education classes, and eventually teach.
The price of a one way ticket is about $700. I am currently getting ready to get a Visa, as well as a checkup. There are some administrative fees once I arrive, and will need to eat, of course. Otherwise, my needs are fairly minimal. I anticipate picking up work there to meet expenses. The acceptance letter just came today, and they expect me there in a month, so therefore there is a sense of urgency.
This trip comes at the perfect time for me. In November of last year, my roommate passed away in our living room. As we were looking for another roommate, the leasing agent checked in, and decided the apartment was a mess. They threatened an eviction, and since this was during the Holidays, all the Human Services offices were on vacation. I accepted a Lease Termination, and have been homeless since January, depending on the generousity of friends and strangers. Once the case workers returned to work, they advised me that I should have taken the eviction. Now that Denver is a top place to live, affording rent is nearly impossible as a student. So, a two year stint in China, with good job prospects once I return, is my best option. I may return to Denver, or stay with family on Long Island for a while.
My GPA is 3.67 at Metropolitan State University of Denver, and I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa (from CCD), Golden Key, and Phi Sigma Iota. My GPA at CCD was 4.0 . My MSU major is French, Spanish, and Italian.
Lately I have been a Tutor at Community College of Denver, and a bookstore employee at University of Denver.
I currently show art at Zip37 Gallery in Denver. I have pieces available as rewards for contributions.
