 MINNEAPOLIS, MN
This is written with a heavy heart and high hopes. Please join us at Dulono's in prayers for the recovery of our coworker and friend Andrew. At approximately 3:30 am this morning while enroute to the store after his last delivery, Andrew was shot in what appears to be an attempted robbery and/or car jacking. By God's grace Andrew was found unconscious in his car by officers of the MPD, after they were alerted by a concerned passerby, before he bled to death. Heroic and gifted surgeons repaired the hole in his heart and have given him the chance to fight for his life. As you reflect on this senseless act perpetrated on a man simply doing his job serving the community that we have served for 59 years, please pray for his recovery and also for the Lord to soften the hardened hearts that are tearing our community apart. God Bless You Andrew. We love you.
Funds raised here will go towards helping Andrew financially as he recovers from this senseless tragedy.

Andrew was just released from HCMC! You can see footage on channel 9 news tonight at 10 PM. We will be holding a benefit for Andrew in conjunction with our First Thursday Bike Night this Thursday, August 4 at the Dulono's Uptown location. Andrew plans on being there in person to thank all of the people who have shown him so much love and support. The staff at the Dulono's would like to thank our community for your overwhelming and awe inspiring support of Andrew, our friend and coworker.

THANK YOU!

Andrew had a good day yesterday. He was able to breath on his own and he was also able to speak. The staff are very concerned about fluid in his lungs and the potential for blood clots. He is not out of the woods yet but he appears to be on the right track.

Andrew and his family are blown away and very thankful for the thoughts, prayers and generous donations.

Thank you for your awesome display of humanity.

Please apply for state medical assistance with any balance thereafter being covered by Crime Victims and/or the facility's charity write-off fund. This young man who was attacked for just trying to do honest hard work with little pay should not have to be concerned with ANY medical expenses. He should be allowed the financial freedom to take his time in the long recovery from such viciousness. My heart goes out to this poor man.

Hey All, I am blown away at the care and concern of the community and beyond that is supporting Andrew. I just learned his landlord will NOT be needing August rent, and is providing as a donation. We are very grateful for that act of kindness. Everyone please know that Andrew views this page and gets overwhelmed with grateful tears. His Birthday is on Sunday, and he is being moved out of ICU!! We tried getting a MN Vikings to come see him on Sunday. We have not heard back. He just loves all MN Sports Teams, Wild, Lynx, Twins. (He also loves the Bengals). The comments you all post give us all strength to know their are good and gracious people out there. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for my friend, and 'adopted' son. We are truly blessed by your support.

Andrew, it's great to see you leaving the hospital! You have conquered so many obstacles, defied all odds. You are a great young man that is dealing with this situation with much grace, and without hate or anger. We all have learned a valuable lesson from you! It's not about what happens to you in life, It's how you choose to handle it. Not many people could be as calm and collected as you have been. Thank you, Andrew for being a role model for society!

Today is Andrews birthday I went to visit him and brought him a Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza from Dulono's. He's an amazing man and to be in such high spirits after going through this violent incident is incredible. He should be celebrating his birthday anywhere but in a hospital room. But unfortunately he's not well enough to be released yet. Keep the prayers coming and Lets see if we can reach this goal of $25k

Our son experienced skill of the professionals at HCMC and the love and kindness of the Minneapolis after a Traumatic Brain Injury last year. In fact his support came from all over the U.S. We are sorry you have to go through this to experience the good that exists in your community.
