Burnt Ramen is a space located in Richmond California that houses musicians and those from the area who can already barely afford to live in one of the most expensive places in the world.... the Bay Area. Right now I'm setting a goal of $15,000 to assist Burnt Ramen in any repairs they may need to help bring the place up-to-date. All donations are greatly appreciated and will go directly to Burnt Ramen. Currently Burnt Ramen is being accused of being an illegal nightclub and faces pressure from the city to close. Fortunately the building is locally owned so with upgrades everything can be brought up to code and folks can avoid eviction. Let's pull it together and save Burnt Ramen and protect our DIY community.

Im so thankful for everyones contributions to this, we're going to city council meetings and letting our presence be felt by city leaders and attempting to keep Ramen open for the folks who have been discplaced.. we still have 1 day left on this fundraiser account! please share /Donate to all your friends and family. Again, thankyou for everything and lets make this last day count. We have recieved the list of things we need to do to bring it up to code and it is extensive and much more then 8500$.

Given the overwhelming support we've had, the fact that the city has red tagged Burnt Ramen , the fact that we will need more to fight Richmond Mayor Tom Butt , and that we are so close to our goal we will be raising our goal to 15,000$. I hope everyone continues to contribute any amount of money you can/share the link, there are 10+ folks on the streets in the middle of Winter right now in central Richmond "for their own safety", meanwhile theres public safety notices to all citizens of Richmond to stay indoors because of the refinery that is AGAIN on fire, lets try and help them get their home back. Mikey owns the building and will not abandon it, the city has gone through a "unique" inspection process with Burnt Ramen and its residents, so in about a week the city of Richmond will release the list of items that need to be upgraded. We are going to fight this and keep Ramen alive. Thanks to EVERYONE no matter how big or small your donation was/is for opening your hearts to these folks in dire straights.
