Matthew is headed to Inauguration

My name is Matthew Carvalho. This September I will be a sophomore at Tabor Academy in Marion MA. Due to my academic and extra curricular achievements I have been invited to attend the Presidential Inauguration Leadership Summit in Washington DC, in January 2017.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness history and play a role in America's future. As a Summit Scholar, Iwill  have the opportunity to attend the historic 58th Presidential Inauguration on the National Mall! I will be inspired by world-renowned speakers such as: Malala Yousafzai, Student, Malala Fund Co-founder, and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate; Ziauddin Yousafzai, Teacher, Malala Fund Co-founder, and Education Advocate; and Abby Wambach, Soccer Champion, Olympic Gold Medalist & World Cup Champion, and American Soccer Icon. I will also participate in events that will solidify my path to becoming a future leader, and connect with like-minded, high-aspiring students.

I am extremely grateful and excited for the opportunity to attend and represent Massachusetts at this Summit.

I have until September 10th to raise the necessary funds to attend this summit.  Any donations will be put towards my room and board during the summit and my airfare to and from Washington. Thank you so much for any help you can provide.
