My name is Kitty and this is for my brother's wife of 44 years who was recently diagnosed with stage-4 cancer. Their names are John and Brenda Maher. They are currently liquidating their antique shop that they've had for 7 or 8 years, and are fighting to save their home so they don't have to leave the place that they love. I am raising money for them to help lessen the costs of treatment. They are long-term residents of Petaluma, a town they've supported both emotionally and finacially through their combined efforts. Family and friends across the United States live too far away to travel out to the French Hen (Brenda's antique store) to buy and help liquidate merchandise. John has played piano in the streets of Petaluma for free, which has brough commerce and tourists to the area. They are a loving and important part of our family undergoing a great financial and emotional burden. We would like to raise the funds as soon as possible in order to help; this means so much to me as they've spent so many years strengthening Petaluma; they are giving up their antique business and selling their home just to fight this fight. They are good people, he is my brother and she is my sister-in-law; this is why I want to help them. I am so thankful for anything that anyone can/is able to
