Molly and Ben's Recovery Campaign

Donation protected
On July 14th, Molly McCoy, from Hampton, NH and Ben Cole, from Raymond, NH were enjoying a vacation to Halifax, Nova Scotia, touring on motorcycle.  At 10:10am, their vehicle collided with an SUV.  They were transported to Queen Elizabeth II Hospital.  Both Molly and Ben sustained significant, life threatening injuries.  While she remained in ICU, she was able to return to breathing on her own.  To support Molly through her trauma, the hospital staff brought Ben's bed down to her side for about 20 minutes today.

Ben and Molly's family and friends started this campaign  to transport the two to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston to receive specialized care for their extensive injuries.  Unfortunately, these injuries could only be stabilized by the use of fixed wing aircraft transportation.  The quote for this transport was approximately $33,000. Beyond this financial burden is the amount that will be needed to support Molly and Ben through their recovery.  Mobility, home adaptive equipment, extensive therapeutic services and other necessities will certain reach beyond any goal we can establish until a thorough prognosis has been discussed.

At this time, Ben and Molly's parents are with them. We ask that you show your support for Ben, Molly and their respected families by donating to this campaign for continued medical care.  And funds that are over are beyond their recovery will be used to provide education about vehicle safety, afterall, had they not been wearing top of the line protective gear including, jackets, gloves and helmets, this story would certainly look very different.
