Katherine's Medical & Moving Fund
Hello, I'm Katherine and I'm in a rough spot in my life right now. I'm trying to save up to move to Austin but I also have a problem with my teeth- cavities and general tooth/jaw pain that makes it difficult for me to sleep which makes it difficult for me to focus to earn enough to save up. I'm currently working freelance which, unfortunately, doesn't come with health insurance and as I live in Texas that puts me in a tight spot RE paying for medical bills. I can't swing the move easily anyway but I really, truly need to get my teeth looked at and treated. Fillings and a Custom Mouthguard for nighttime grinding are what I'm looking to get taken care of (the grinding really doesn't help with the tooth and jaw pain, let me tell you).
My current situation is this: I have until the end of September to save up enough to move to Austin and need to be out of my current apartment before October 4th. I'd like to have everything sorted by September so I don't have to scramble at the end of the month. My teeth have been an issue for long enough that I've kind of forgotten what it's like not to have the tooth/jaw pain and I'd love to be able to forget what it feels like, and to get on my feet in Austin to make a fresh start for myself without. I know money is tight right now all around, which means I'd be more than grateful for anything given. The funds raised will be used like this:
2000 - Exam, Consultation, Fillings
500 - Mouthguard
500 - Moving Van
2000 - Packing, Gas, Movers, Insurance
