I'M GOIN' TO FRANCE Y'ALL!

I have been invited to play on a women’s soccer team in France! The club I will be playing with is ETG-Ambilly, Feminin FC. As a partner with a men’s professional soccer team, they want to move from Division 3 level to Division 2 which would enter them into the professional French women’s league. The team reached out to me as they are seeking North American players to add to the strength of their team and often bring in foreign college players through their programs. They are located in southeast France, just across the border from Switzerland.

As the team is not professional, they do not pay a salary but will provide housing and travel throughout Europe during the season. I am responsible for my travel there and back and for my personal expenses. The team’s founder and manager, Alexandra Garcia, estimates that it will cost about $3,000 on my part. As that is beyond my current budget, I am looking for help from friends and family. Any donation would be greatly appreciated!

This is an amazing opportunity for me to continue playing soccer and get to know a totally new culture. I'm very thankful for the support I have received thus far and can't wait to embark on this journey!
