Wine Tasting

I'm a filmmaker.  Previously I graduated from Cornell University with a BA in History, began teaching, and will soon graduate from Columbia University with a MA in the Teaching of English.  My film project Wine Tasting placed as a finalist in the script competitions at Beverly Hills Film Festival, Sunscreen Film Festival West, and Evolution, Mallorca Film Festival.  Wine Tasting is about a diverse group of men who are studying to be master sommeliers.  Two of them men are Latino, two are American, and two are gay.  The men undergo extreme stress which effects both their private and professional lives as they focus on passing the somm exam, and making it in the industry.  A master sommelier is a wine expert, and they work throughout the beverage and hospitality industries.

I'd like to film this project late summer or fall.  In light of the considerable controversy of the lack of diversity in the film industry, I've decided to write and produce films that showcase the diversity we have in this nation.  Please support independent filmmakers who strive to change the films that are available for the public to see.  Not only would I be extremely grateful for your support, so will audiences as you help to change the media by showing films that reflect the country as it is.
